In these days I am experiencing and learning a lot. I learned to use chopsticks (well almost :P), to call the animals (meow and woof woof), to bring mobile phone to my ears (or mimic the gesture)…
And I got to see for the first time small chicks, rabbits, kittens and even a hedgehog!

On Yawen’s bike
I got to try my cousin’s bike seat 😛
I am going fast! Or so it looks like 😀
11m at the peony festival
We celebrated my 11 months at the peony festival. We all got peony crowns and went around the very large park.
Mommy and daddy took really beautiful pictures together!
Luling county fair
Grandma drove us to see the Luling county fair, where I bought myself a new hat and a pair of little shoes 😉
It’s quite messy but interesting… the machine in the last photo is for making sesame oil…!
Grand-grand-mom
Today I met my grand-grand-mother, her name is YuLan and she’s 77 years old!
Hey everybody, do you like my new sun glasses? 😉
Arrival to the village – cousin
After a long trip, we arrived to mommy’s home village, and were greeted by all the relatives. I met my first cousin, her name is Yawen and she was born just one day before me!
The next day they weighed both of us… using that old style hand-scale! She was heavier but I am sure it’s because of her clothes!! 😛
All together to gulangyu island
Hakka tulou
Today we went to visit the most famous complex of tulou (earth buildings) built by the Hakka people. It was a long trip, but worth it! Such a marvelous place, immersed in step-fields valleys… and in a beautiful sunny day!
Wind, waves and sand
That’s the gorgeous bay where daddy went swimming. This time we came back when the sun was still up, but it was too windy to stay long, to suntan or to swim 🙁
Anyway I enjoyed myself immensely: I found an abalone shell, tried to eat some sand :P, was sitting on a rock… but what I especially loved was walking on the beach, at each step opening wide my toes to feel the sand with my feet. 😀
How beautiful is the sea?!
Enjoying the early summer
It’s really warm and sunny, so I can finally wear all my light clothes 😉
Ain’t I cute with that little hat? 😛
Daddy even managed to go swimming; he said the water was still cold but the cleansing experience of a spring swimming in this gorgeous bay was priceless.
