Ciao ciao, farewell, 再见, dear little island!
I had a lot of fun, I met nice people, I went swimming and sunbathing and walking on the sand.
I watched the white seagulls, the blue waves and the colourful shells…
I even ate the local specialties of good fish and seafood.
Now it’s time to go, but for sure I will come back.
Don’t change too much! Don’t develop too fast… dear little island.

The lions and the banyan tree
I am getting better at riding, by constant practice 😀
Then I played hide&seek around this huge banyan tree.
The stone moving (only) with the wind
In this beautiful natural park there is this huge stone, legend says it moves with the wind. Daddy tried hard to push it… but to no avail.
I then waved and called and finally he let me try.
I was so sure I would make it roll and… uhm… maybe it shifted a tiny bit. Next time, next time I’ll surely manage!! 😉
The rocky coast where I went relaxing and ate a snack is called ‘Tiger cave’… it is really magnificent!
Riding rubber
Today I tried a baby swimming bath/pool. While waiting for the tub to fill up, I enjoyed riding these rubber mounts 😀
Standing and studying
I can now study daddy’s book even while standing up! 😀
And I am even trying to learn how to hold the pencil to draw…
To the sea
Now that it’s finally sunny we go almost every day to the beach. Mommy likes to go finding shells and daddy likes swimming. I like to walk on the sand and look at the sea and its waves… and also try to bite the shells mommy finds… 😛
Learning to…
My learning abilities are continuously improving.
I can now pull toys, sort objects from one side to the other, fill and empty containers, drive gamecars :), use the spoon to get food… and I am also much better at standing and (assisted) walking.
Buffet lunch
We went to the city to visit mommy’s uncle.
Two days later we left Shandong and you can see me, in the last photo, heavily enjoying the buffet lunch in the airport. 😀
Grandma, grandpa, see you next year!!
Countryside, trikes and dumplings
Both me and mommy riding trikes… and it’s the first time for both of us 😀
In the last photos you can see grandma cooking dumplings in the traditional oven. I do love dumplings!
Bathing in the laundry tub
It’s so wonderful to take a bath in a tub under the warm sun!
